No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. MAKDANE (8) Came in 5th last start at Caulfield. Looking for an improved run and can find a nice position from the draw. Shows good early pace. Matched against tougher rivals. In the mix. SIR ATLAS (9) Ran 7th last start around here. Capable of bouncing back but challenged by a tougher grade. Finishes off strongly. Goes down in weight. Has to be included.
